My legislative district reflects the challenges faced by most residents of the Pee Dee. In fact the Pee Dee as a whole may be a critical driving force in South Carolina’s economic and social future. Right now our state, region and community face many of the same significant problems. In our area we need new jobs, better schools, and major improvements to our roads and overall infrastructure. These issues are not frills or extras. These issues represent the basic building blocks for our overall quality of life and future prosperity.
We have many things to be proud of in our area. The most important point of community pride is our people. As I have served in the legislature and throughout my business and ministerial work I have seen time and time again how our community can come together and work to solve problems. It will take that type of resolve from all of us as we face the challenges of the next decade. Please send me your thoughts. And check out my blog, sign up on Facebook and follow the conversation on Twitter. I will try and keep everyone up to date on what is happening in the legislature and around the Pee Dee area.
